Yes, we don’t only check your teeth at your dental examination; we also screen the soft tissues in and around your mouth.  Conditions such as oral cancer are becoming more common and early detection is vital.  We suggest that you visit us at least once a year

Some treatments such as dentures, crowns and braces involve multiple visits; we are happy for our patients to pay towards the total cost at each appointment.  This helps avoid being faced with a large bill at the end of treatment. 

Some patients do still prefer to pay for their full course of treatment upon its completion.

We politely ask that patients pay for their dental treatment, in full, on the day it is completed.

Dentures wear down over time resulting in a change in the way you bite.  This, in conjunction with changes to your gums as we age, means a set of dentures will usually last around six years.

For almost every cavity that needs filled there is a white, tooth coloured option.

The NHS allows dentists to place white fillings in the front six teeth of each jaw and also in the sides of back teeth.

However the NHS does not allow dentists to place white fillings in the biting surfaces of back teeth and this is one of the most common fillings required.

Nowadays, many patients needing a filling of this type opt to pay for it privately to get a tooth coloured filling done.

Some patients are deciding to have their metal fillings replaced with white fillings.
