We see ourselves very much as a family practice that provides excellent care to our patients from birth.

Childsmile is a government-backed initiative to improve the teeth of children in Scotland and we are a practice dedicated to the Childsmile program. We suggest your children are registered with a dentist within their first year.

We also encourage adults to present for their routine examinations to enable us to treat common problems such as tooth decay and gum disease. At these visits, we also screen our patients for less common, but more serious, conditions like oral cancer. As such even if you wear full dentures you should still visit your dentist routinely for a complete dental examination.

Many families will attend for their check-ups together, seeing their parents interact with the dental team promotes confidence in children and allows them to feel at ease in the practice environment. What’s more, we also have a children’s play area in the waiting room.
